42 Academic Staff Recruitment Will Be Conducted

Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Academic Staff Recruitment Announcements Published

Two separate staff recruitment announcements have been published by the Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Rectorate for assignment to different academic units.

One of the announcements covers Professor, Associate Professor, and Doctoral Faculty Member positions, while the other announcement is prepared for Instructor and Research Assistant positions.

When evaluated together, there are a total of 42 academic staff positions within the university.

27 Faculty Members Will Be Recruited

The faculty member announcement includes a total of 27 positions. The positions are opened for the titles of Professor, Associate Professor, and Doctoral Faculty Member.

The units where recruitment will take place include Çiçekdağı Vocational School, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Theology, Kaman Vocational School, Mucur Vocational School, Faculty of Engineering-Architecture, Faculty of Health Sciences, Social Sciences Vocational School, Faculty of Medicine, and Faculty of Agriculture.

Among the Professor positions, fields such as Mathematics Education, Turkish Education, Instructional Technologies, Algebra and Number Theory, and Cooperative Studies are included.

The Associate Professor positions are opened in fields such as Topology, Physical Anthropology, Production Management and Marketing, Management Sciences, Philosophy of Religion, Food Technology, Banking and Insurance, Histology and Embryology, Public Health, Neurology, Feeds and Animal Nutrition, and Soil Science.

The Doctoral Faculty Member positions cover various fields such as Child Development, English Language Education, Hadith, Sociology of Religion, Building Information, Internal Medicine Nursing, Foreign Trade, Physiology, and Eye Diseases.

For each position, candidates must not only hold the relevant academic degree but also meet the special scientific work and expertise conditions specified in the announcement.

How to Apply for Faculty Member Positions?

Applications for faculty member positions will be made through the online application system of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University.

Applications made in person or by mail will not be accepted. Candidates are required to upload the application letter, CV, publication list, graduation documents, identity, and other necessary documents specified in the announcement to the electronic system.

Additionally, candidates applying for Professor and Associate Professor positions are required to submit their associate professorship certificate.

Candidates can only apply for one position for which they meet the conditions during the same announcement period. Applications from candidates who apply for multiple announcements will be canceled.

It is stated that the application period for the faculty member announcement will continue until 5:00 PM on the 15th day from the date the announcement is published in the Official Gazette.

15 Instructors and Research Assistants Will Be Recruited

In the separate teaching staff announcement published by the university, there are a total of 15 positions.

Of these, 12 are Instructor positions and 3 are Research Assistant positions.

The Instructor positions are located in the Faculty of Theology, Kaman Vocational School, Mucur Vocational School, Rectorate units, Vocational School of Technical Sciences, and the School of Foreign Languages.

Among the positions, programs such as Arabic Language and Rhetoric, Construction Technology, Smart Infrastructure Technician, Computer-Aided Design and Animation, Game Development and Programming, Big Data Analytics, and Renewable Energy Technician are included.

Instructor positions have also been opened within the Rectorate under the Office of International Relations, Computer Science Research and Application Center, Technology Transfer Office Application and Research Center, and Quality Management Coordination.

Research Assistant Positions

The three fields where research assistants will be recruited are as follows:

Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Prehistory Division: A bachelor's degree in Archaeology or Prehistory/Prehistoric Archaeology is required, and the candidate must be pursuing a thesis master's degree in the relevant field.

Department of Surgical Diseases Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences: A bachelor's degree in Nursing is required, and the candidate must be pursuing a thesis master's degree in the field of Surgical Diseases Nursing.

Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Health Sciences: A bachelor's degree in Nursing is required, and the candidate must be pursuing a thesis master's degree in one of the fields of Obstetrics and Women's Health specified in the announcement.

Teaching Staff Application Requirements

Generally, candidates are required to have received at least 70 points from ALES. A foreign language requirement is also sought for the relevant positions, and the base score for the foreign language may vary according to the position.

Candidates applying for research assistant positions must be thesis master's, doctoral, or proficiency in art students. Additionally, there is a condition that they must not have turned 35 years old as of January 1 of the year in which the exam is held.

For instructor positions, generally, a minimum of a thesis master's degree is required. Additionally, there may be conditions regarding the field of graduation, professional experience, certificates, or special expertise in the announced positions.

Teaching Staff Applications and Exam Process

Applications for instructor and research assistant positions will only be accepted through the university's online application system. Applications made in person or by mail will not be accepted.

The announcement date is October 5, 2026, and the final application date is announced as October 19, 2026.

The preliminary evaluation results are planned to be announced on October 26, 2026. Entrance exams will be held on November 3, 2026, and final results will be announced on November 10, 2026.

It is stated that the exams for Instructor and Research Assistant positions will be conducted in written form. However, for candidates applying for the Instructor positions in the School of Foreign Languages and the Faculty of Theology, the exam will be conducted orally.
