Rectorate of Istanbul University will recruit 22 faculty members in accordance with Law No. 2547, the Regulation on Promotion and Appointment of Faculty Members, and Criteria for Promotion and Appointment of Faculty Members at Istanbul University. Professor Positions at Istanbul University

Professor positions are opened in the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine Urology (2) and Medical Genetics (1), the Faculty of Dentistry Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery (1) and Prosthetic Dental Treatment (1) departments, as well as in the State Conservatory String Instruments Main Art Branch (1).

Associate Professor Positions at Istanbul University

Associate professor positions are opened in the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine Internal Medicine (with the condition of specialization in immunology and allergy), the Faculty of Law Comparative Law, and the Faculty of Pharmacy Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Chemistry departments, with one position each. Candidates for pharmacy positions are required to be graduates of a pharmacy faculty and to have completed their doctorate in the relevant department.

Doctoral Faculty Member Positions at Istanbul University

Doctoral faculty members will be recruited in the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine for Internal Medicine (with specialization in gastroenterology), Neurosurgery (2), Family Medicine (with specialization in family medicine), and Pediatrics (3) departments. For the Pediatrics positions, specialization in pediatric infectious diseases, pediatric metabolic diseases, and pediatric rheumatology is required. There are also doctoral faculty member positions in the Faculty of Law Commercial Law (1), Faculty of Pharmacy Pharmaceutical Chemistry (1), Pharmacognosy (2), and Pharmaceutical Technology (1) departments.

Application Requirements

Candidates must meet the conditions specified in Article 48 of Law No. 657 and must not have a State Service Obligation. It is required that diplomas obtained from abroad have been validated, and male candidates must not be in a court or draft evasion status regarding military service. According to the Supplementary Article 38 of Law No. 2547, there are no doctoral faculty member positions available for those who have completed their doctorate or artistic proficiency at the university under the 50/d quota. All candidates' scientific files will be reviewed by the Rectorate Pre-Evaluation Commission, and those who do not meet the minimum criteria will not be evaluated by the jury.

Applications for professor and associate professor positions will be made to the Rectorate Personnel Department, while applications for doctoral faculty members will be made to the unit where the position is announced. The university is not responsible for delays in postal applications, which must arrive by the end of business on the last day. Applications that are incomplete or submitted late will not be considered.
