Gazi University published three separate announcements regarding the list of Vocational School students whose registrations were deleted due to the maximum education duration, the horizontal transfer application evaluation results of Turkish Republic citizen students studying in higher education institutions in Iran, and the additional placement application results for the acceptance of students with TRNC citizenship for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. The relations of the Vocational School students who have completed their maximum duration with the University were terminated as of 16.10.2026. The registration procedures for students with TRNC citizenship will be conducted face-to-face on 30.10.2026 at the Gazi University Student Affairs Department.

Students Whose Registrations Were Deleted Due to Maximum Education Duration

According to the amendment made in Article 28 of the Law No. 6569 published in the Official Gazette dated 26.11.2014 and the change in clause (c) of Article 44 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547, within the framework of the decision taken by the University Senate at its meeting dated 31.08.2023 numbered 2023/254 on the “Principles Regarding Procedures to be Followed at the End of Maximum Education Duration”, the relations of students who have completed their maximum duration in the Vocational School with the Vocational School were terminated as of 16.10.2026.

Horizontal Transfer Application Evaluation Results of Students in Iran

The horizontal transfer application evaluation results of Turkish Republic citizen students studying in higher education institutions in Iran due to the Iran-Israel war were announced. The evaluation was conducted within the framework of the decision taken at the meeting of the Higher Education General Assembly dated 27.08.2026. TRNC Citizenship Student Additional Placement Registration Calendar

Additional placement application results for the acceptance of students with Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) citizenship who wish to study in the University’s associate and undergraduate programs with their own means in the 2026-2027 Academic Year were announced.

Registration procedures will be conducted face-to-face on 30.10.2026 at the Gazi University Student Affairs Department. Registrations are made in person or through authorized persons with a power of attorney issued by the Turkish Republic's foreign representations or notaries. Registration by mail is not allowed.

If it is determined that the documents uploaded to the application system and the information and documents declared during registration are incorrect, the candidates' registration rights will be canceled.

Documents Required for TRNC Registration

The documents required during registration are as follows:

• Original passport and photocopy
• Apostilled original of the high school diploma and notarized translation (notarizations will be done by notaries in Turkey)
• High school equivalency certificate obtained from Turkish foreign representations abroad for high school diplomas obtained from abroad, and from Provincial National Education Directorates within Turkey
• GCE A Level exam result document (must be approved by the TRNC Ministry of National Education)
• Original and notarized translation of the official transcript showing all courses and grades taken at the secondary education level (notarizations will be done by notaries in Turkey)
• 2 biometric photos taken within the last six months
• Financial Guarantee Declaration Form

Foreign Language Proficiency Exam Dates

Students who enroll in programs that provide education partially or entirely in a foreign language and programs with a preparatory class will participate in the foreign language proficiency exam. The I. Session of the Foreign Language Proficiency Exam is scheduled for November 3, 2026 at 10:00, and the II. Session is scheduled for November 3, 2026 at 14:00. Students who do not participate in this exam or do not receive a passing grade will be subjected to mandatory preparatory training.

For programs with a mandatory preparatory class, candidates who have sufficient scores from national or international foreign language exams accepted by the University’s School of Foreign Languages can present their exam result documents to the School of Foreign Languages.
