İŞKUR Youth Program and TÜBİTAK 2209-A, 2209-B Applications Have Started

Gazi University in collaboration with Ankara Provincial Directorate of Labor and Employment Agency will accept applications for the İŞKUR Youth Program for the 2026-2027 Academic Year between October 20-24, 2026, until 23:59 on the last day with portal number 23409. A total of 2,489 students will participate, and participants will be selected by notary lottery. The university also announced that applications for the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program and 2209-B University Students Industry-Oriented Research Projects Support Program for the 2026 calls have been opened. Applications for these programs can be made until 17:30 on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 via the TÜBİTAK Management Information System (TYBS).

Gazi University İŞKUR Youth Program

The quota for the program is 2,489 people. Participants will work in academic and administrative units affiliated with the university. The program will be implemented between November 9, 2026 - May 14, 2027.

The program will support activities in the fields of sustainable campus, campus infrastructure and maintenance, social and cultural activities, academic and administrative activities, community service and cooperation, student development and adaptation, digital transformation and innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem activities.

Participants will be selected by notary lottery. The primary lists created as a result of the lottery will not be final and will be confirmed after necessary review and control processes. Results will be announced by the university.

How to Apply for the İŞKUR Youth Program

Applications can be made through the İŞKUR Youth Platform (genclik.iskur.gov.tr) and www.iskur.gov.tr via the guidance links, from e-Branch, e-Government, ALO 170 hotline, and in mandatory situations from İŞKUR service centers. In applications, residency requirement according to AKS will not be sought.

İŞKUR Youth Program Application Requirements

Students applying must meet the following conditions:

• Be a Turkish citizen, be registered with İŞKUR, and have completed 18 years of age
• Not receiving old-age or disability pensions
• Not being an employee of the contractor or its affiliated, related, or subsidiary companies within one year prior to the date of application and until the program starts
• Not being insured under Article 4 of Law No. 5510 in the last month prior to the application, and under Article 5 as of the application date
• Meet the household income requirement and not benefiting from İŞKUR's active labor or unemployment insurance programs
• Be a student of Gazi University, not being an open or distance education student, not having a suspended or inactive registration

For those living in collective living spaces such as dormitories and shelters, and for those whose identity information is concealed under Law No. 6284, the household income requirement is not sought according to AKS.

TÜBİTAK 2209-A and 2209-B 2026 Calls

TÜBİTAK has opened applications for the 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program and 2209-B University Students Industry-Oriented Research Projects Support Program for the 2026 calls. The programs aim to support university students' research and project development activities.
