Özyeğin University offers master's and doctoral programs within the Institutes of Science, Business, and Social Sciences in Istanbul, conducted at both thesis and non-thesis levels. The university was established in 2007 by the Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation as a foundation university. The main campus is located in Nişantepe, Çekmeköy; faculties of business, engineering, social sciences, aviation, law, architecture, and applied sciences are all on the same campus.

The structure of Özyeğin University consists of three institutes. The Institute of Science conducts dozens of thesis and non-thesis programs in engineering, architecture, data science, and artificial intelligence. The Institute of Business includes MBA, EMBA, entrepreneurship, and financial engineering programs; the Institute of Social Sciences covers psychology, law, and design programs. Özyeğin University offers a non-thesis master's option in all three institutes. Who is Eligible for Özyeğin University Master's Application

Özyeğin University offers the opportunity for master's studies without ALES in non-thesis programs; ALES or equivalent GRE/GMAT scores are required for thesis and doctoral programs. Foreign candidates who can speak Turkish at a level sufficient to follow the courses are exempt from the entrance exam. Özyeğin University considers diploma, transcript, language certificate, and reference letters for foreign student admissions. Candidates are also expected to be successful in the oral interview.

Graduate education is conducted under the Institutes of Science, Business, and Social Sciences.
Non-thesis master's programs are open in engineering, business, architecture, and psychology fields.

At Özyeğin University, ALES is not required for the non-thesis master's programs of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences or for the MBA program of the Graduate School of Business. ALES is mandatory for thesis master's and doctoral programs; some non-thesis programs, such as the Non-Thesis Master's in Psychology, also require ALES or GRE. International applicants to engineering and architecture programs are exempt from ALES.

Özyeğin University master's tuition fees are set separately by program, thesis option and graduate school. The Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences offers scholarship opportunities to graduate students; scholarship terms vary by program. Özyeğin University master's and doctoral programs are run in Istanbul under the Graduate Schools of Natural and Applied Sciences, Business and Social Sciences at thesis, non-thesis and doctoral levels. Özyeğin University is a foundation university established in 2007 by the Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation. The main campus is in Çekmeköy; 7 faculties, 3 graduate schools and the School of Foreign Languages are located on this campus.

Özyeğin University offers non-thesis master's programs lasting a minimum of two and a maximum of three semesters. Students complete coursework and prepare a term project; no thesis is written. Non-thesis options are available in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Architecture, Psychology and Business (MBA). There is no distance-learning non-thesis program.

International applicants apply to Özyeğin University master's programs with a bachelor's diploma, transcript and an English proficiency certificate. ALES is not required for engineering and architecture programs; other programs accept GRE or GMAT instead of ALES. YÖS and TR-YÖS are not required for graduate applications. For foreign diplomas, a YÖK recognition certificate and a student visa are required.

Özyeğin University master's applications accept TOEFL iBT, YDS, e-YDS, YÖKDİL, IELTS and the university's own exam, TRACE. The MBA program also accepts PTE. TRACE is valid only for master's applications. Applicants who graduated no more than two years ago from an undergraduate program taught entirely in English may be exempt from the language requirement.

A doctoral application to Özyeğin University requires a master's diploma, an ALES or GRE score, an English proficiency certificate and an oral interview. Doctoral programs are housed in the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, the Graduate School of Business and the Graduate School of Social Sciences. Admission to a doctorate with a bachelor's degree is also defined in the regulations. TRACE is not accepted for doctoral applications.
