Master's DegreeIstanbul Aydın University Master’s Programs for International StudentsIstanbul Aydın University master’s programs for international students are run by a single Institute of Graduate Studies and are offered as thesis and non-thesis degrees in social, natural and health sciences. This guide explains who can apply under international student status, how the university’s own directive for international graduate applicants works, which documents are requested, how long each degree type takes under the university’s graduate regulation, and how English-medium and Turkish-medium programs differ on language proficiency. It also clears up a frequent point of confusion about the ALES entrance exam and outlines the residence permit steps that follow enrollment. Every rule is attributed to a named, dated source, such as the Official Gazette, the university’s 2025 Institutional Internal Evaluation Report or its graduate admissions pages. Application calendars and program lists change each semester, so the guide also shows where to confirm the latest details.
