Ankara University Student Affairs Department announced the application and registration information for the amnesty under Law No. 7592 published in the Official Gazette dated August 9, 2026 and numbered 33335, with the 14th article added to Law No. 2547 under Temporary Article 85. Applications started on August 9, 2026 and will continue until 5:30 PM on December 9, 2026. Registrations for students deemed eligible will be made between August 31 and December 18, 2026.

Implementation Principles of the Amnesty Law at Ankara University

The procedures and principles regarding the implementation of Temporary Article 85 have been published by the Council of Higher Education. The Senate of Ankara University also determined the implementation principles for associate and undergraduate programs with its decision dated August 20, 2026 and numbered 680/6557. How to Apply for Student Amnesty at Ankara University

Those who wish to benefit from the law can apply in person or through proxies with a notarized power of attorney to the unit where their registration has been deleted (faculty, State Conservatory, or vocational school). Applications sent by mail are not accepted. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, December 9, 2026, at 5:30 PM.

Final Registration under the Amnesty at Ankara University

Students deemed eligible to start their education by the decision of the faculty deanships and the State Conservatory Directorate must come to the Student Affairs Department for registration. Registrations are made at Ankara University 10th Year Campus, Ord. Prof. Dr. Şevket Aziz Kansu Building, Beşevler/Ankara between August 31 and December 18, 2026. Students who will register at vocational schools must apply to the relevant vocational school, while students registering for associate and undergraduate programs at the Faculty of Open and Distance Education must apply to the Faculty of Open and Distance Education.
