Batman University was established in 2007 and is a rapidly developing young and dynamic state university in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. Since its establishment, Batman University has adopted a vision focused on education, research, and regional development, becoming an important higher education center for students from both Turkey and international backgrounds. Thanks to its academic infrastructure and expanding program diversity, it is increasingly preferred by foreign students and international students each year.
In terms of academic structure, Batman University currently has approximately 9 faculties, 1 institute, 1 school of higher education, and numerous vocational schools. While undergraduate education is offered in faculties such as Engineering-Architecture, Science-Literature, Economic and Administrative Sciences, Education, Fine Arts, and Islamic Studies, a wide academic spectrum is provided to students with dozens of different undergraduate and associate degree programs.
