Istanbul Medipol University Will Recruit Faculty Members

Istanbul Medipol University announced that it will carry out permanent status faculty member recruitment in accordance with the relevant legislation and the university's academic promotion and appointment principles.

Within the scope of the announcement, 1 Professor will be recruited for the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program of the Department of Educational Sciences.

Special Requirement for the Professor Position

Applicants for the announced position must have the title of associate professor in the field of Educational Sciences (Educational Psychology).

Applicants must also meet the general conditions specified in Article 48 of the State Civil Servants Law No. 657 and the academic appointment criteria related to the Istanbul Medipol University Promotion and Appointment Regulation.

Applications Will Be Made Within 15 Days

The application period is set as 15 days from the date the announcement is published in the Official Gazette.

Applications for the professor position must be made in person to the Human Resources and Planning Department of the Istanbul Medipol University Rectorate.

The application address is specified as Istanbul Medipol University, North Campus, Block A 3rd Floor, Kavacık Neighborhood Ekinçiler Street No:19, Kavacık Junction, Beykoz 34810 Istanbul.

Documents Required for Application

Applicants for the professor position are required to submit a petition indicating the department and main field of study they are applying for, a CV including a publication list in YÖK format, undergraduate, graduate, doctoral or specialization certificates, associate professorship certificate, language proficiency certificate if available, a photocopy of ID, and four photographs taken within the last six months.

A recognition document for diplomas or academic titles obtained from abroad must also be included in the application file.

Applicants are required to prepare 1 physical file and 6 flash drives containing their scientific work and publications. It is also stated that a letter of commencement for professorship is additionally required for candidates who will receive the title of professor for the first time.

Applicants must show one of their publications after obtaining the associate professorship title as a main research work.

Important Rules Regarding Applications

The same person should not apply for multiple positions. Applications with incomplete documents will not be accepted.

Professors cannot apply for associate professorship positions; and only individuals with the titles of professor and associate professor can apply for Doctor Lecturer positions.

The university reserves the right to cancel the entire announcement or any announced position if deemed necessary and to make changes to the announcement schedule.
