Hiring Faculty Members and Research Assistants

Adıyaman University Will Hire Academic Staff

Adıyaman University announced that it will carry out the hiring of faculty members and research assistants to be assigned in its academic units.

Faculty member recruitment will be conducted in accordance with Law No. 2547, the Regulation on Promotion and Appointment of Faculty Members, and the Principles of Academic Promotion and Appointment of Adıyaman University.

Candidates must also meet the general conditions specified in Article 48 of Law No. 657 on Civil Servants and other conditions stated in the relevant legislation.

How to Apply for Faculty Positions?

Faculty positions will be of permanent status. Applications must be made within 15 days from the announcement date.

Candidates for professor and associate professor positions must apply in person or by mail to the Adıyaman University Human Resources Department, while other candidates must apply to the relevant academic units in person or by mail.

Diplomas obtained from abroad must be approved for equivalency by the Interuniversity Council.

Requirements for Professor Position

Candidates applying for the professor position must attach their CV, a copy of their associate professorship certificate, the faculty member application scoring table, and a complete file of their scientific works to their application letter.

Scientific works must be prepared in PDF format and saved on 7 portable drives. Additionally, 1 printed file must also be submitted.

Applications for Associate Professor and Doctor Faculty Member

Candidates applying for the associate professor position must submit their CV, a copy of their associate professorship certificate, and a file containing their scientific works along with 5 portable drives and 1 printed file.

Doctor Faculty Member candidates must also submit their CV, the faculty member application scoring table, and a file containing their scientific works in the same manner, with 5 portable drives and 1 printed file.

Candidates with the title of associate professor cannot apply for Doctor Faculty Member positions.

Research Assistant to be Hired for the Faculty of Pharmacy

The university will also hire 1 research assistant for the Pharmacology Program of the Department of Pharmacy Professional Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy.

The grade of the position has been announced as 4.

Candidates must be graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy for 5 years and must be pursuing a doctorate in Pharmacy Pharmacology.

The appointment will be made in accordance with Article 50/d of Law No. 2547.

ALES and Foreign Language Requirement for Research Assistant

Research assistant candidates must have scored at least 70 points on the ALES exam.

Additionally, they must have obtained at least 50 points on a centrally accepted foreign language exam by the Higher Education Council or an equivalent exam.

Candidates who can benefit from the exemption from the central exam will have their ALES score accepted as 70 in the preliminary and final evaluation stages.

Documents Required for Research Assistant Application

For research assistant applications, the following documents are required: faculty member application form, CV, photocopy of identity card, photocopies of undergraduate and graduate diplomas, undergraduate and graduate transcript documents, ALES and foreign language exam result documents.

Additionally, a student certificate showing enrollment in graduate education, a photo taken within the last six months, a criminal record, and a military status document for male candidates are required.

Candidates who are currently employed or have previously worked in public institutions must also submit a service certificate.

Those who graduated from higher education institutions abroad must include a certified photocopy of their diploma equivalency document in their application file.

Research Assistant Applications Will Start on August 28

Applications for the research assistant position will start on August 28, 2026 and will end on September 11, 2026.

Applications can be made in person or by mail. Applications that reach the university after the final application date or those made with incomplete documents will not be considered.

Application documents will not be returned to candidates.

Exam Schedule

The preliminary evaluation for the research assistant position will take place on September 15, 2026.

The entrance exam will be held on September 18, 2026, and the results will be announced on September 22, 2026.
