63 Contracted Personnel to be Recruited

The Rectorate of Marmara University will recruit a total of 63 contracted personnel, including 20 office staff, 3 drivers, and 40 service staff, in accordance with Article 4/B of the State Civil Servants Law No. 657. Applications will be accepted only through https://kariyerkapisi.gov.tr/isealim between October 23, 2026, at 09:00 and November 6, 2026, at 13:00. Candidates will be called for the oral exam based on their 2024 KPSS (B) group score ranking, and the oral exam will be held on November 25-26, 2026.

Marmara University Contracted Personnel Positions

• B01 Office Staff (20 people): Both female and male candidates can apply. Graduating from any field of secondary education is sufficient.
• D01 Support Staff, Driver (3 people): Only male candidates can apply. Must be a secondary school graduate, possess an E class or new type D class driver's license, have at least 3 years of driving experience documented by SGK service record, and must not be older than 30 years on the application deadline.
• D02 Support Staff, Service Staff (40 people): Both female and male candidates can apply. Must be a secondary school graduate and must not be older than 30 years on the application deadline.

Drivers and service staff will work in shifts. For high school graduates, the 2024 KPSS (P94) score is taken into account.

Application Requirements

Candidates must meet the general conditions specified in Article 48 of Law No. 657. Male candidates must have completed or be exempt from military service, candidates must not receive retirement or old-age pension from any social security institution, and must declare that they do not have an active undergraduate student registration in higher education institutions. Those applying for the service staff position must be able to perform tasks such as cleaning, transportation, service, and garden maintenance, and must declare that they have no obstacles to working at night, in shifts, and at all campuses. An archive investigation will be conducted for those who are entitled to appointment.

How to Apply for Marmara University Contracted Personnel

Applications are made only through Career Portal, applications sent by post are not accepted. Candidates must personally submit all required documents along with the “Candidate Application Information” document obtained from the system to the Personnel Department of Göztepe Campus within the application dates. Applications of those who do not submit the documents will be considered invalid.

Oral Exam and Evaluation

A total of 3 times the number of candidates will be called for the oral exam, starting from the highest KPSS score for each position. The oral exam will be held on November 25-26, 2026 at Marmara University Göztepe Campus. Candidates must bring their identity card or passport to the exam. A score of 60 points will be awarded for professional field knowledge, and 40 points for merit, representation ability, suitability for the position, and general culture. To be considered successful, candidates must score at least 70 points.

Results and Objection

The ranking will be based on the oral exam score, and as many main and reserve candidates as the number announced for each position will be determined. Objections to the results can be made in person to the Personnel Department within 5 business days from the announcement with a wet-signed petition.
